Modifications: - Modified track select/queue algorithm. Bug fixes: - A File not found error was displayed when config directory was missing. Setting default values was not possible in this case. MoodLogic modifications: - MoodLogic DOT.MIX database file location changed to the DMP3 directory. - Adding a MoodLogic genre/artist/album/song to play program is implemented in the browser (up to the first 100 songs). Long press of the JOG button plays the selected item. Use CIRCLE button to start MoodLogic mixing. Please note: Adding a song will add all listed songs, playing the selected song first. - An empty generated mix can be distinguished from the situation when none of the generated files found - the "File Not Found 54" error message will be displayed in the latter case. - Play-Repeat mode will display "Mix", if the program was generated by the MoodLogic mix function. - New Playdisplay item: Moodlogic Mix, a '+' sign displayed if the current playing track is mixable. Added to the default display configuration. ------------------------------------------------------------ v2.14: New: - New Moodlogic functions added. Please find details about Moodlogic functions and usage in a later general document provided by Dension. - The player loads the program code of the menus, MP3Mark and Moodlogic functions dynamically from the hard disk (overlay). These functions are available only if the DMP3\AUTOUPD.DAT file exists on the hard drive, and it was installed previously (in this case version of the AUTOUPD.DAT file and the DMP3 firmware is the same). If the AUTOUPD.DAT file not found or any error occured during loading, a "Not Available B1" error message will be displayed when trying to use the above functions. - CD-changer communication supports the CD-Text for further Dension interface Produkte. - New functions require your optional Satellite display to be updated to firmware version 1.29 or later. Modifications: - Changed access of the Setup Menu. To enter the Setup Menu (second menu page) press the CIRCLE button again. - The player automatically returns to player display state after activating MP3Mark function in the menu. Icon of the marked mp3 files has changed, a note with small 'x' sign displayed in the browser. - Displays the software version string during the power on sequence. - The firmware update question will be displayed for 60 seconds in car mode (5 seconds previously). This gives enough time to start the update when the DMP3 is mounted into the car boot. - Balance value has numerical display in the menu, instead of string type display. Previous firmware versions had "Center", now "0" is displayed instead. - Improved random algorithm. Will avoid to select the same track twice if only a few program items present. - Moodlogic play programs have the program counter icon set to '+'. Bug fixes: - When trying to install new Satellite Display firmware, in some cases the "Update Extension?" update confirmation question was not displayed. Fixed. - Fixed some LCD refresh bugs (leaving trash on the LCD display). - If the play program contained only mp3 items, it happened that the player stopped after playing the first track. Fixed. - Sometimes in MyRadio play mode, after power off/on, the player forgot to restore the album play mode. - Files with the atrribute flag HIDDEN or SYSTEM were not hidden by the DMP3 browser. Fixed. - The browser enabled adding only 99 program items. Fixed to 100, corresponding the users manual. - In album play, pause state, when swithing off the album play mode, the DMP3 didn't refresh the player state icon on the display. Fixed. ------------------------------------------------------------ v2.13: Modifications: - Added handling of ID3V2 unicode encoded fields. - Modified random algorithm. - AlbumPlay can be used in all playback modes. Previous versions limited the AlbumPlay function to random playback mode. - Handling of large playlists and directories made faster. Bug fixes: - During MyRadio playback, if AlbumPlay was activated on a file which was referenced directly in the MyRadio configuration playback jumped to the first file of the root directory. Bug fixed. - Loading MyRadio file containing 100 items caused operation failure or system hang. Fixed. - Sometimes display was not refreshed when track changed. This was significant during playlist playback. Fixed. - MP3 files marked with the MP3 Mark function couldn't be added to the play program from the browser. Fixed. - Bug in MP3 Mark function sometimes caused improper long filenames created. Fixed. - After power on, replacing the program with an mp3 file in the root directory, the player started playing a different mp3 track. If no corresponding item found, the DMP3 starts playback of all the music files in repeat mode. Modifications: - DMP3 couldn't power on and wake up from standby with certain - typically Seagate - hard drives. This version eliminates the problem. - Linux playlist compatibility (M3U and PLS). Also '/' characters can be used when defining file path. Both CR and LF chars accepted as line terminator. - If AutoPause mode set, the player is always paused after power on. Bug fixes: - AutoPause function didn't work at normal track change. Fixed. - Browser displayed incorrect icon for some files. Use this function to mark damaged files, or with any other purpose. File extension changes to ".MP!", browser icon changes to empty triangle. The DMP3 can still play these marked files. Previously marked files can be found in the DMP3 Manager program's MP3 find/export menu. (DMP3 Manager 3.01.00 version and upper). - Gapless Play includes smallest possible gap between tracks. - Update messages changed (similar to 3.XX firmware versions). Modifications: - Calculated false playback time on files with wrong ID3V2 descriptor. This modification handles some of the possible ID2V2 errors. - FWD/REW speed slightly increased. - JR_VOL.KBD and JR_MRD.KBD configuration files changed since latest release. - Enhanced compatibility with certain hard drives. During file scan the ID3v2 tag has higher priority than the ID3v1 tag. The ID3v2 information is internnaly converted to ID3v1 by the DMP3 firmware. Display is still based on ID3v1 specs. - Sending hourglass animation messages to the Satellite Display. The SatDisp needs to be updated to firmware version v1.15 or later to enable the animation display. Modifications: - Temperature range was widened to -10C - +55 C (0 - +50 C previously). - "Temp Out Of Range" message can be disabled by loading special config file (temp_on.cfg, temp_off.cfg). - Software optimizations for the sake of faster harddisk handling. Browsing, file sort and skip became much faster. Bug Fixes: - Browser could sort only 99 items in contrast with 100 items in the user's guide. Fixed. - Play program was accidentally cleared after "Temp Out Of Range" display. Fixed. - In Repeat Off mode, adding multiple mp3 files to the program, other mp3 files was played from the same directory. Fixed. - IN_USE line status was not checked during the switch off process. Didn't came back if IN_USE was set meanwhile. Fixed. - Using Autopause mode when jumped back to beginning of track the player didn't go into pause state.
