DMP3-A PLAYER 3.XX VERSION HISTORY - DENSION AUDIO SYSTEMS LTD. --------------------------------------------------------------- v3.13: IMPORTANT! Install this update only on DMP3-A 3.10 (or later) firmware version! This update is compatible with DH-FP front panel 1.10 and later versions only, does not work with DH-FP front panel versions 1.03 and earlier. MoodLogic modifications: - MoodLogic DOT.MIX database file location changed to the DMP3 directory. - Adding a MoodLogic genre/artist/album/song to play program is implemented in the browser (up to the first 100 songs). Press the PLAY button (long press of the JOG in party mode) to play the selected item. Use the ADD button (CIRCLE button in party mode) to start MoodLogic mixing. Please note: Adding a song will add all listed songs, playing the selected song first. - An empty generated mix can be distinguished from the situation when none of the generated files found - the "File Not Found 54" error message will be displayed in the latter case. - Play-Repeat mode will display "Mix", if the program was generated by the MoodLogic mix function. - New Playdisplay item: Moodlogic Mix, a '+' sign displayed if the current playing track is mixable. New: - New functions will need the DH-FP front panel firmware 1.11 or later installed. - MP3 mark (MP3Mark) - works on actually played file. In party mode MP3Mark can be accessed from the menu, in car mode long press of the MUTE/PAUSE front panel button activates marking. Use this function to mark damaged files, or with any other purpose. File extension will be changed to ".MP!", browser icon will change to a note with a small 'x'. The DMP3 can still play these marked files. Previously marked files can be found in the DMP3 Manager program's MP3 find/export menu. (DMP3 Manager 3.01.00 version and upper). - New Moodlogic functions added. Please find details about Moodlogic functions and usage in a later general document provided by Dension. - The player loads the program code of the menus, MP3Mark and Moodlogic functions dynamically from the hard disk (overlay). These functions are avalilable only if the DMP3\AUTOUPD.DAT file exists on the hard drive, and it was installed previously (in this case version of the AUTOUPD.DAT file and the DMP3 firmware is the same). If the AUTOUPD.DAT file not found or any error occured during loading, a "Not Available B1" error message will be displayed when trying to use the above functions. Modifications: - The menu - available in party mode - is divided into two pages. The Setup Menu (second menu page) can be accessed by pressing the CIRCLE button again. The << and >> buttons, and long JOG press handled in the menu too. - When used in the DH head unit, in the browser list, short press of the UP/DOWN buttons will take from the end to the begin or from the begin to the end of list. - Balance value has numerical display in the menu, instead of string type display. Previous firmware versions had "Center", now "0" is displayed instead. - Improved random algorithm. Will avoid to select the same track twice if only a few program items present. - Logo image selected in the browser will immediately be displayed in party mode too. Bug fixes: - Fixed some LCD refresh bugs (leaving trash on built-in and DH-FP display). - Sometimes in MyRadio play mode, after power off/on, the player forgot to restore the album play mode. - After power on, replacing the program with an mp3 file in the root directory, the player started playing a different mp3 track. Fixed. - After changing PlayDisplay with the DISP button, the player ignored the 1-6 direct MyRadio buttons. Fixed in this firmware. - Files with the atrribute flag HIDDEN or SYSTEM were not hidden by the DMP3 browser. Fixed. - Menu scroll direction parameter in config files also changed operation of the UP/DOWN buttons of the DH-FP front panel. Fixed. - The browser enabled adding only 99 program items. Fixed to 100, corresponding the users manual. - When "Out Of Temp Range" message was displayed, PLAY button should be pressed twice to continue playback. Fixed. - Using FFWD, when it reached the track end position, change to the next track was not correctly performed. Fixed. - In pause state, after the DMP3 switched the hard disk to standby, pressing the pause button again, the player state icon gave feedback of the action only after the hard drive spin-up. Fixed. - Set Default menu item can be activated only when confirmed with pressing the JOG button. Set Default didn't clear the logo stored in the DMP3 memory. Fixed. ------------------------------------------------------------ v3.10: IMPORTANT! The AUTOUPD.DAT file also contains the DH-FP front panel firmware update. Please start the update only when connected to your DH head unit. Turn on your DH head unit. After inserting the DMP3 into the head unit immediately press SOURCE until DMP3 selected. DMP3-A owners may need co-operation of other person to take this step. When the update confirmation question displayed, start the update with the PLAY button. Update is automatic and takes about 3 minutes. The update process updates both the DMP3 player and the DH-FP firmware. During the process image displayed on the DH-FP LCD can disappaer, or display can flicker. This is normal, shouldn't be considered as an error. Please don't cancel the update. If error occurs, please remove the DMP3 and detach the front panel. Reattach the front panel first, then connect the DMP3 player. The DMP3 will automatically restart the update. Downgrade to any previous version of the DH-FP firmware is not possible. New: - New communication with DH-FP front panel. Not compatible with DH-FP firmware versions v1.03 and older. - Party mode can be accessed when connected to DH-200 head unit. Long press of circle button enters this mode, where DMP3 buttons can be used. After power off the DMP3 returns to normal operation. Modifications: - No error displayed when trying to load setup files which has been erased from the drive. - Added handling of ID3V2 unicode encoded fields. - "Temp Out Of Range" message can be disabled/enabled by loading special config files (temp_on.cfg, temp_off.cfg). - AlbumPlay can be used in all playback modes. Previous versions limited the AlbumPlay function to random playback mode. - Handling of large playlists and directories made faster. - In Party mode, long press of the JOG button triggers AlbumPlay instead of power off. Bug fixes: - During MyRadio playback, if AlbumPlay was activated on a file which was referenced directly in the MyRadio configuration playback jumped to the first file of the root directory. Bug fixed. - In some cases playback state was saved wrong, returned in stop state. Fixed. - Loading MyRadio file containing 100 items caused operation failure or system hang. Fixed. - Set Default function didn't validate the default contrast and backlight value. Fixed. - At Repeat Off setting playback didn't stop at the last program item. Fixed.
